The Annual Walla Walla Sweet Onion 5K Funion Runion is going to be a "Friday Night" Funion Runion in 2019.

What better way to showcase the official Washington State vegetable? Come join the fun at the Annual Walla Walla Sweet Onion Festival. The festival will be held on Main Street between Third and Fourth Street.
The Walla Walla Sweet Onion Marketing Committee, the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation, the Downtown Farmers Market and many volunteers and local businesses are coming together this year to bring the event to our community. Wheelin’ Walla Walla Weekend is an annual, two-day event, that begins with the Classics Cruise and Catered Dinner on Friday evening. The Show 'n' Shine takes center stage on Saturday! Stroll Main Street where over 400 cars and motorcycles are on display and line the street from Palouse to Sixth Street. An awards ceremony cap off this family-friendly event at 3pm.

The merchants of downtown invite Walla Walla’s goblins, superheroes, firemen, and fairies (and their parents) to visit door-to-door each Halloween. Although Main Street is closed to vehicle movement, volunteers help families cross the intersection at Second & Main and assist at some stores to hand out candy. Palouse to Third, hand out candies and treats to the children in costumes. It is estimated that between 2,000 to 4,000 children and their parents visit downtown for this annual event.
There's nothing quite like the magic of a community parade. Walla Walla's annual Veterans Day Parade is scheduled for Monday, November 11 at 11:11am. Come out and show your support for our veterans.
The Downtown Walla Walla Foundation is pleased to present the Annual Macy's Holiday Parade of Lights. Always held on the first Saturday in December, this event features a huge variety of lighted entries and thousands of spectators who help herald in the start of the holiday shopping season.
The parade begins promptly at 6 pm at the corner of Alder and Fifth Street. The parade travels east on Alder to Palouse, Palouse to Main Street, and Main Street to Fifth. The Jolly Old Elf Himself, SANTA CLAUS, will bring the parade to a close as he makes his way into Downtown Walla Walla.

The Downtown Walla Walla Foundation presents a special SHOP SIP & STROLL downtown on Saturday, February 16 from 1-4pm. This special event is similar to our summer Sip & Stroll event but with a fun twist. During the event, many participating retail merchants are offering a special and/or discount from 1-4pm for those guests who come downtown and take advantage of the festivities. To know which merchants are participating in this event, look for the Shop Sip & Stroll poster hanging in their window.
This is a great excuse to get out of the house! Grab your spouse, family or friends and come join us for an afternoon of shopping, eating and wine tasting!
Sip & Stroll tickets are $10 for six wine tastings at participating wineries. Tickets are available online and the day of the event at Land Title Plaza — look for the table with balloons!

The Downtown Walla Walla Foundation is pleased to present a new and improved version of FEAST Walla Walla. This signature event of the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation will now be called FEAST — The Festival @ Walla Walla. This year’s event will be held on June 23 from 3 to 8 pm and will be at the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds.
FEAST — The Festival @ Walla Walla will continue to share the best of the region’s wineries, breweries, distilleries, restaurants, and food trucks. We will announce participating vendors soon.
In addition to the traditional “Sips & Bites,” we will add live music to the event. The event will take place on the outdoor stage and the grassy area adjacent to the historic fair Pavilion.
Gary Hemenway & Mark Brown's 'Tis the Season in the Valley holiday concert will be Saturday, December 16th at 7pm at The Gesa Powerhouse Theatre. All proceeds of this concert go to the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation. Tickets will be for sale soon on The Gesa Powerhouse Theatre website.
Please join us in historic Downtown Walla Walla as we honor our Veterans Saturday November 11th at 11am. The 2017 Veterans Day Parade is presented by the cities of Walla Walla and College Place, Walla Walla County, Port of Walla Walla, the Walla Walla Union Bulletin and the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation.
The parade will begin promptly at 11am on Alder and Fifth Street. The parade will travel east to Palouse Street, Palouse to Main Street, and down to Fifth Street. It is requested that if you are parked in this zone, to refrain from moving your vehicle during the parade.
